PM360: The Patient’s View: What Value Means to the Person Who Matters Most—featuring Elizabeth Shaw, Editor in Chief of Remedy’s HealthCentral

Huffington Post: What’s really hiding in your make-up bag? Berkeley Wellness tells you how to shop safely for cosmetics and personal care products

You’ve probably heard about the growing concerns over potentially harmful chemicals in your make-up and personal care products and you’re right to be concerned. The cosmetics industry is not regulated by the FDA so there is rarely any premarket testing of personal care products and the ingredients are not always listed on the labels. Thrillist: Drinking and Antibiotics – featuring insights from Dr. Swartzberg, chair of Berkeley Wellness editorial board

Not drinking on antibiotics is one of those common-sense health rules that's a fact just because, like waiting 30 minutes after eating to swim, or peeing on a jellyfish sting to make it better.

It's also a great excuse to use if you don't feel like going out one night; most people will accept it as legit.

But is it actually true? After all, people certainly do it, and while there are some anecdotal stories about feeling the alcohol kick in harder, it's not like people are going to the hospital in droves after mixing the two. Read more...

AdExchanger: A Lesson For Digital Advertisers and Publishers, Courtesy of Taylor Swift

A year ago, a track off of Taylor Swift’s “1989” album topped the Canadian music charts. It managed to outsell some of her megahits on the chart at the time. This struck me as a little extreme even for T-Swizzle fans – it took her song “Blank Space” to a new level. Read more...
